Dave looks to repeat in 2006. There is nothing like the "Major Award" to bring a smile to your face. Dave holds on to the trophy due to poor weather conditions during the latest tournaments. Hopefully 2007 will be a better year for the "Spring Classic"

Me and my 7lb 11oz lunker caught at night 12:30, Another 7lb 1oz lunker. Another beauty 7 lbs 2 oz at 2 am
Dave heats up the largemouth fishing with 3 beauties. Here is a nice 7 lb 11 oz caught at 2 am on a 12 inch black rubber worm. "This makes my season!" said Dave. "Getting 1 bass over 7 lbs is hard enough." Dave's a devout largemouth fisherman and has a wall filled with giant bass he has caught over the years. Dave currently owns the "Major Award" for largest striper caught during the Spring and fall classics. All Dave's largemouth bass are released right after "the photo." Dave recommends finding your own favorite ponds and rivers. "Keep your best spots to yourself and you will catch big bass on a regular basis."" I really like fishing the nights. It's a big part of largemouth fishing. Dark baits work well and these fell victim to a black one. "You really need to know your waters to fish nights. Obstructions and other gear wreckers need to be located as not to lose fish or gear needlessly." I know the call is coming the night Dave brings in a fish greater than 10 pounds. As always though it goes back after the photo and the scale.

Dave gets nice tiger trout while fishing for bass. He caught it using a 10 inch black worm at 11:30 pm in one of the many trout ponds that can be found in eastern Massachusetts. This nice fish was released to fight another day.
