Elmer proudly gave up the trophy saying "G-No puts us on fish, constantly making me look good." No stranger to big cod, "We go where they are." says G-No. "Nothing like a day out on the banks."

At home on the water as he is on the land, "G-No" brings a wealth of experience, (and a boat) to the company. Already a solid fisherman, "G-No" shared his knowledge and gear with the rest of the company and brought some great humor to the group. In a year when anyone could have won "Fisherman of the Year", he didn't. "But I could have if "Elmer" didn't get the sympathy vote." stated "G-No" as he laughed.

Striped Bass is his main prey and you can charter "G-No" and the "Irish Ayes" for a great day fishing. "G-No" goes where the fish are." said "Elmer" And evidence of his prowess will appear below.

"Captain G-No" and the "Irish Ayes", takes "Rock Bottom" and "Jimdogg" on the interview cruise! "Boy these guys are smooth." said "G-No" "They fired more questions at me in such subtle ways, that I was telling them all my fishing secrets before I knew it." After the trip, the first thing out of "Rock Bottom's" mouth was "He's in, nice boat!" "Jimdogg" could only agree " Yeah, nice boat, plenty of gear too."

G-No's #1 advise to those who venture offshore is this. THINK SAFETY FIRST ! Make sure to have all your safety equipment in top order. Things happen on the water quickly and you must be able to reach what you need and know how to use it. The goal of any outing is return to port. Remember how cold the water is in winter. Those who wear their life vests increase their chances of survival dramatically. Survival on the water comes down to the preparedness of the Captain and crew. Don't allow a mistake or accident ruin your day.

"G-No" brings a wealth of knowledge and ocean experience to the company. "His addition to the "Bite Me Bait Co." has been immediately felt this year as the "Irish Ayes" "G-No's" boat was a welcome addition to the fleet. Said the "Grand Poobah, Rock Bottom" "He allowed us to fish more members more often, helping to make this year one of our most productive." "G-No fishes year round as the weather permits. Safety First is my top priority" stated G-no in his post appointment interview. If you go out on the ocean in winter, "Don't go alone, and wear your lifejacket" "Rock, G-No" and "Billy Bob" provided most of the fleet for our members, as well as shore and kayak fishing. Many of you will recognize our new VP and he is a well respected person in many communities.

Striper fishing has been picking up for the Bite Me Bait Co. We have been fishing hard and have quite few keepers in the box. We have fished hard from Boston Harbor to P-Town and the Cape. Blue fish abound and most stripers are just short. G-No puts us on fish all the time.
